# Terms & conditions

These terms govern your use of Izana. They're written in plain language; a finalised version reviewed by counsel governs in case of any conflict. Questions? Email hello@izana.ai.

## 1. Agreement
By using Izana, you agree to these terms. Izana is operated by Izana, a company registered in Spain, with offices in India. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

## 2. What Izana is, and isn't
Izana is a support and lifestyle companion, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe, and it does not replace your doctor or clinic. Your Izana score is a lifestyle-and-adherence signal. Not a medical test or a prediction of any cycle outcome. Always follow your clinician's advice; in an emergency, contact your doctor or local emergency services.

Izana works alongside your fertility clinic, following your clinic's protocol. Plans are reviewed by a clinical dietician before they reach you. Anything that needs clinical attention is flagged to your care team.

## 3. Access through your clinic
Izana is currently offered through partner fertility clinics. Access may require a clinic code or invitation. Availability depends on your clinic coming on board.

## 4. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for the accuracy of the information you provide. The more accurate your inputs, the more useful your plan and score.

## 5. Acceptable use
- Use Izana only for your own fertility journey and as intended.
- Don't misuse, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service.
- Respect other members in any community features: no harassment, no sharing of others' private information.

## 6. Privacy
Your use of Izana is also governed by our Privacy policy, which explains what we collect and how your clinic sees only your scores and flags, never your private messages or raw logs.

## 7. Intellectual property
Izana, including the app, the Izana AI engine, the score, and all related content and branding, belongs to Izana and its licensors. You're granted a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the service.

## 8. Disclaimers
Izana is provided "as is." While we work hard to be useful and accurate, we don't guarantee any particular health or treatment outcome. No tool can. A higher score means you're doing more of what evidence supports, not that any result is assured.

## 9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Izana is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

## 10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, where Izana is registered, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Courts of Spain have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

## 11. Changes
We may update these terms as Izana evolves. We'll post the new version here with a revised date and notify you of material changes. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
